The following are the original vehicle specifications as at the date of purchase of the vehicle in December 2004:

Competing started soon after purchase of the vehicle and at this time only a few minor modifications were made. The modifications initially installed were:
2 inch suspension lift
2 inch body lift
33 inch tyres
Snorkel
The lift enabled the vehicle to have a slightly higher ground clearance which provided slightly better off-road capabilities and kept the truck in the standard class when competing.
